Case Study

- develop with a group of leaders a vision of the optimal composition of the board of directors,
- raise the level of heads’ leadership self-awareness,
- support heads in the process of selecting from among themselves the team that will form the future board of directors,
- develop heads’ leadership competencies and prepare them for the challenges of tomorrow.

The project was coordinated by mentor Li, who conducted one-on-one interviews and a retrospective with the participants. At the end of the process, he summarized with the board what had been worked out.

Recommendation
Our team has definitely improved self-awareness, team competencies such as communication, and tools that have allowed us to better understand each other’s needs. I feel that deeper team relationships have allowed us to build a more effective management group for the company. In our industry, every day is a fire to put out, so knowing everyone’s strengths allows us to shorten the decision-making process, make more prudent decisions, and build a cohesive company that is in line with our jointly set values.
We worked with Leaders Island based on a schedule of group meetings, 1:1, training, psychometric analysis and retrospectives. Specific and to the point.
Most valuable in the context of the cooperation was the support of specialists in the complex topic of building relationships between extremely different individuals, in order to create a team that fights chaos together.

The series of training sessions conducted by Leaders Island specialists has significantly translated into strengthening our team relationships. We had the opportunity to see ourselves in a completely different light and to see that the diversity of our group and different thinking styles are our great strength. We learned how to put this into practice.
