About the company
Team Up IT Recruitment is an agile and specialized IT recruitment agency that has been redefining IT recruitment since 2019. The company uses its own Team Sourcing methodology based entirely on team recruitment. The company is headquartered in Łódź.
Background of cooperation
Team Up approached us with the need to develop one of the leaders in the recruitment and delivery team.
Leaders Island’s task was to define the foundations of the leader’s beliefs and guide her development so that she would feel more confident, share specialist knowledge, build an effective team and at the same time continue to work effectively and successfully with the company’s clients on recruitment projects.

Project Description
We proposed a consulting and leadership development program consisting of 2 stages:
Both steps are in line with the Leaders Island methodology based on the “Human Behavior Motives” ™ Model. Step 1 addressed the basic layer of needs, from which specific behaviors result. Step 2 was based on the layer of behaviors and attitudes resulting from them.
The 1:1 sessions were supplemented with additional “post-work” materials, i.e. exercises, matrices and other work-supporting tools.
- Diagnosis of internal motivation and needs using the Reiss Motivation Profile ™ psychometric tool and the “Internal motivation, or what drives us” program, which consisted of the RMP test, and a 1:1 review of the report, the beliefs, attitudes and motivators related to its results.
- 1:1 mentoring sessions deepening the topic of attitude, needs, and support in the scope of tools necessary for work

Methods and tools used
Study of the structure of needs affecting the Reiss Motivation Profile, discussion of the motivation profile with a certified RMP coach and mentor.
1:1 mentoring addressing beliefs and needs with a mentor and Leaders Island consultant.

Results and feedback
The 1:1 support program was assessed by the leader as valuable and influencing everyday work.
As part of my cooperation with Leaders Island, I first worked with Mariusz Dobrzycki, who helped me understand my RMP profile. Then I benefited from the mentoring of Ania Gawlikowska, who supported me in my daily challenges – both managerial and personal – helping me better understand the mechanisms behind my reactions.
I highly recommend Leaders Island to people who want to develop as leaders, but above all, want to get to know themselves better – their decisions, motivations and patterns of action. As a result, communication tools are no longer just theory – they start to result from a deeper understanding of themselves and become more intuitive. And this is a very important step towards becoming a better leader.
