In a world full of “quick fixes” and unproven management theories, Leaders Island focuses on something more – reliable evidence and data. That is why we proudly present Science Bridge – our innovative Research and Development space, which is the heart of our Evidence-Based Approach.

What is Science Bridge?

Science Bridge is Leaders Island’s R&D hub, acting as a bridge between the academic world and daily organizational practice. We collaborate with universities, research institutes, organizations and companies in different sectors (including technology, IT, automotive and more) to transform complex analyses into concrete, useful recommendations for leaders.

Within the framework of Science Bridge:

We investigate real challenges faced by leaders and organizations through questionnaires, surveys, interviews, and 1:1 contact during our trainings, workshops and leadership mentoring
We collaborate with scientific institutions e.g. Jagiellonian University, or the AGH University of Science and Technology to implement research and development projects
We analyze large datasets with scientific rigor and proven scientific methods
We translate results into practical solutions that leaders can implement immediately in their everyday work

Our Foundations: Evidence-Based Approach

Our approach is based on four sources of evidence:

1. Experience of mentors-practicioners – the collective knowledge of experienced mentors, leaders, and psychologists we work with. These are action patterns proven many times over, not random opinions.
2. Stakeholder Voice – for over 10 years, we have been building the Leaders Island community, numbering hundreds of thousands of leaders. Thanks to close contact, we understand their needs, challenges, and daily realities.
3. Data from business – we rigorously collect and analyze hard data: turnover rates, employee satisfaction, team effectiveness, survey results, and organizational research.
4. Scientific Knowledge – we use the latest research in psychology, sociology, and organizational sciences, collaborating with Polish universities to verify scientific concepts.

Why do we do this?

We observe that the management world is full of simplified recipes and so-called “best practices” that often lack confirmation in research. At the same time, many leaders lack access to current scientific knowledge or do not know how to translate it into practice.

Science Bridge was created to change this. We want scientific conclusions to reach not just library shelves, but conference rooms, and leaders’ offices.
