Workshop’s program - scope

The “Conducting Developmental Talks” workshop is based on four pillars of using coaching tools in conversations about development and growth.

Intro to coaching leadership

We will start our workshop with practical experience of what coaching really is. Although this method of work has been on the business market for a long time, our conversations with managers show that only a small group of leaders had the opportunity to experience the practical effects of coaching. The first step during our meeting will be a coaching session.

Reliable knowledge

After the first step of experiencing how coaching works, there will be time for a solid portion of knowledge. Coaching methods are based on mechanisms deeply rooted in our brain. They have been designed to support the way adults learn and develop. In this step, we invite you to explore this knowledge, supported by years of experience of mentors from Leaders Island.

Practice

The third pillar is learning to use coaching tools in practice. Coaching knowledge is available and free. But as a leader using a coaching management style, you need to know how to put these tools into practice. And this requires experience and practice. We offer it to you in step three.

Tools

In the fourth part, you will receive a set of coaching tools and the opportunity to experiment and practice with others in the safe conditions of the Leaders Island workshop. We will also help you find a supportive person - from your organization or outside it - with whom you will be able to improve your coaching tools on a daily basis.

The workshop takes place in person in Krakow (Podole Street 60) and lasts from 9:00 AM to 4:30 / 5:00 PM (with a 1-hour lunch break).

An ONLINE workshop is no different in terms of content or delivered value compared to an in-person training session. All elements that affect the interactivity of the workshop, participant engagement, and the hands-on nature of this experience have been maintained. After the online workshops, we receive extremely enthusiastic feedback in our surveys.
