Workshop’s description
The “Communication is Your Job” workshop made you realize that there is never enough… work on communication? Go a step further and take part in a series of 6 workshops entitled “Academy of Managerial Communication“!
Each of them is devoted to a different issue. What they have in common is the proven method of “scenes” played out with a professional actor, the recordings of which we then analyze together.
You will be surprised how high is the level of realism and emotions accompanying these confrontations.
Workshop’s program - scope
The “Academy of Managerial Communication” is a series of 6 workshops carried out 1-2 months apart.
“Play on emotions”
Control them in yourself and others. We will focus on the feelings you experience in typical professional situations. You will gain management skills by expressing emotions and shaping them in your colleagues. Our method will allow you to experience real emotions, collide with the emotions of others and draw conclusions. You will understand yourself more deeply, become aware of your mental states and start building your emotional profile. Thanks to communication training, in a world of experiences that may have seemed difficult to control, you will discover allies in building relationships and motivating you to act!
"Put things in right words"
Improve your language. At the next meeting to improve your communication skills, we will focus on what to say to be understood, persuasive and build images using sentences. We will not only work on your way of expressing yourself, but we will also discover what others convey between the words.
"Speaking with gestures"
Non-verbal communication. Do you know what you are saying even when... you are silent? You probably don't often have the opportunity to look at yourself from the perspective of an outside observer. We will give you the opportunity to do this, paying attention to your repertoire of gestures and postures. Why does this matter so much? Because in fact, gestures are the dominant element of our communication.
"Anger is harmful to effectiveness"
How to stop aggression. Your boss raises their voice. A co-worker gets offended or makes ironic comments. The client expresses anger without embarrassment. As a manager, you probably often encounter aggressive behavior. It's completely natural. Therefore, during the fourth meeting, we will teach you how to deal with both the aggression from those around you and the aggression that arises within you. We will also work on ways to deal with the stress that accompanies situations in which aggression occurs.
"Agreement builds, disagreement... also builds!"
A thing about conflicts. Do you avoid conflicts like the plague? Come on, start using them and benefiting from them. After all, they are an integral and often very constructive element of every interpersonal relationship. Your role as a manager is to use the natural phenomenon of conflict to increase the effectiveness of the team. After all, a dispute can inspire and increase creativity, as well as provide knowledge about people and relationships.
"Getting to the heart of the matter"
How to use managerial induction. Again, do you have a nagging feeling that the long exchange of words has distanced you rather than brought you closer to the essence of the matter? During the sixth meeting, we will teach you how to go deeper, how to get to the heart of the matter. We are convinced that in order to conduct a valuable conversation, it is necessary to reach the intentions and needs of the meeting participants. Without reaching this deep layer of interpersonal relationships, it is impossible to understand the other side and even... yourself.
What will be your takeaways from the Academy of Managerial Communication workshop?
- practice awareness and control over emotions, as well as the ability to evoke and manage them in others
- turn language into an effective tool for building effective relationships. You will forget about the uncertainty that may accompany you when you have to talk to someone, write an email, or even exchange a few courtesy words during a networking meeting
- gain tools that will allow you to effectively protect yourself against the effects of aggression and the destructive impact of stress
- we will guide you through proven methods of resolving conflicts using effective mediation procedures. Thanks to them, you will take advantage of the positive sides of inevitable disputes
- thanks to the skill we call managerial induction, you will raise your communication from the level of generalities to specifics, which are the key to understanding, efficiency and effectiveness. The conversation will turn from an issue to be ticked off into a valuable meeting that will help solve problems
- (when you "see" yourself, you will) become more aware of what you are doing and why, and as a result, you will take significant control over your non-verbal communication and become persuasive to others.

I remember these workshops as very good, and I think that was one of the few trainings that I remember at all. And not only because of the actors, and “scenes” we played out. To me, what was best, were tools and exercises we were to practice every week. I guess that was the most valuable thing to me, as they gave me a chance to develop skills gradually. As managers, we are constantly surprised by more or less stressful situations (“scenes”) but not many of us can afford regular and systematic work on them, or we simply lack knowledge of how to do it.

Problem solving is my specialty.
I gained experience in conducting conversations in difficult situations, dealing with crises and resolving conflicts in the most extreme way: as a mediator and crisis negotiator. For years, I have been professionally supporting others in making decisions that may involve human lives.
