Wellbeing
Good wellbeing and psychological safety are often overlooked — or even forgotten — in the context of our professional lives. Yet both physical and psychological comfort at work form the foundation of a satisfying personal and professional life. Unfortunately, in today’s world, we face many challenges, such as stress and burnout, which make life more difficult for us (and for our coworkers). As a leader, it is worth remembering that psychophysical wellbeing is the basis for effective work, motivation, and engagement.
In this part of the Toolbox, we discuss the concepts of stress and burnout, and offer guidance on how to work with and manage them.
