Workshop Schedule: 4 Pillars of the Calm ME
Pillar 1. I see. I know what’s happening, I know how I think, how I act
Looking at myself during stress from a meta-level (What stresses me out? How much stress is in my life? How do I act? What do I do? What don’t I do? What resources do I activate? Do I activate them? Do I see them? Do I have access to them?). Where does stress come from and what does it look like? The motivations behind my behavior.
Pillar 2. I receive tools, implement change. I regain and gain agency
Techniques and strategies for coping with stress; long-term and short-term action; assessing and connecting with my own resources; how to utilize my potential.
Pillar 3. I practice, train, practice
I use knowledge. I practice on myself. I identify areas for further work. I name them. In short, I practice on myself, I train, and practice.
Pillar 4. Prevention
Toolbox. In short, I know what to do to avoid situations that stress me out. I know how to act, I know how to protect myself. I know what to do to prevent tension from escalating if it does arise.
