Jira

Jira is project management software. Thanks to it, you and your team will plan upcoming projects, and continuously monitor them until they are finalized. What is more, Jira will improve the organization of your work and regularity. Jira – unlike Asana – is a very extensive tool that is integrated with other Atlassian tools, e.g., Confluence. It is recommended for running extensive projects, because its advantage is high transparency and the ability to configure it to your own needs, attach plugins, etc.

1. Planning

You can divide each project into individual tasks, placing them on a shared board. You can easily change the status of each task, communicating to others what you have already done and what you are still working on.

2. Monitoring

Jira allows insight into your and your co-workers’ progress: you have a clear timeline of your project at your disposal, you can comment on the work of others at any time, as well as get feedback.

3. Reporting

In addition to text, Jira offers graphical representation of data regarding your project: in a few seconds you will find out what stage of work you are at, e.g., how many tasks have already been completed.
