Reiss Motivation Profile self-test

If you decide not to take the full Reiss Motivation Profile® assessment, and you want to generally know your level of a given 16 needs, you can use the simplified RMP self-test questionnaire.

The 16 RMP needs-motivators are:

  1. Power – the need for leadership and influence
  2. Independence – the need for autonomy
  3. Curiosity – the need for understanding
  4. Acceptance – the need for approval
  5. Order – the need for planning, structure, and clear rules
  6. Saving – the need to collect and keep things
  7. Honor – the need for loyalty to rules
  8. Idealism – the need for pro bono activities and involvement in social issues
  9. Social contact – the need for frequent contacts with people
  10. Family – the need for raising and caring for loved ones
  11. Status – the need for belonging to an elite group
  12. Vengeance – the need to compete and win
  13. Beauty – the need for aesthetic experiences
  14. Eating – the need to savor meals
  15. Physical activity – the need for physical exertion
  16. Tranquility – the need for emotional stability and safety.
